According to an article published today in the online version of the Fond du Lac Reporter the sentencing hearing scheduled for this Friday has been postponed until an unspecified later date. The reason for the postponement given in the article is “medical issues involving the presiding judge, Daniel Klossner”.1
May 27, 2007:
Shane Marquardt’s sentencing date has been placed on the court calendar of Dodge Count Circuit Court Judge Andrew Bissonnette for August 18, 2007. Judge Bissonnette will be presiding over the sentencing portion of the trial due to prolonged health concerns of the former judge on the case, Daniel Klossner.2
